This illustration was made for the upcoming Cashcats.biz Exhibition at Oakland's Cat Town Cafe (starting december 5th 2014)
The Fortune Cash Cat is my 2014 interpretation of the classic Japanese Maneki Neko, believed to bring good luck and fortune to its owners. I didn't want to be disrespectful to this icon, so I didn't want to treat it as a joke, a clown cat, but as a real icon that could be trust at a first degree by someone. It was also a great pleasure to shoot my own cat that I consider to be the most beautiful in the world !

And limited print will be sold starting december 5th during the Cashcats.biz Exhibition at Cat Town Cafe 2869 Broadway in Oakland, CA!

Hello, i really like this so much. It is exactly what i made up in my mind to use as a banner for my company, i Just typt my name for it and then i was directe here. And to be hoest.. i really love all stuff i see on this amazing art galery, but i an Total newbie here, so can you maybe tell me how this all works here? And beside that, is it possible for me to use/buy this beautifull artwork? I don't want to be rude! It is Just that i never saw the exact thing i had in my mind for my project. Untill now...i am stunished. It is awesome! Hope my English is good enough to let you understand what i mean. I am from Netherlands. Keep up the good work. Love it!
